A financial services client is an official sponsor of MLB, NASCAR, multiple NFL Franchises and more. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the sponsorship activation programs and also other brand specific programs that are developed to entertain key clients. Potential responsibilities include managing administrative documents, pre-event planning, competitive research, local market/on-site activation and event analysis. This position(s) will work across the entire account team and event marketing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Support account team across multiple programs
Assist with vendor management, premium inventory, event planning, and property research
Assist with planning and execution of event marketing programs
Prepare pre-event briefing materials on select programs
Manage documents such as status reports, tracking documents and meeting notes
Create recap documents for all events and assist in providing bi-annual wrap-up reports including results, key learnings, strengths, weaknesses and recommendations
Assist in the research and production of quarterly competitive reports
Participate in brainstorms and creative ideation
Manage select special projects
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a related field
Sports/event marketing experience preferred
Agency experience preferred
Sports and/or entertainment industry knowledge preferred
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
